What is Eravikulam famous for?

What are the visiting hours?

The park is usually open from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, but closed during the mating season of Nilgiri Tahr (February–March).

Are vehicles allowed inside?

Private vehicles are not allowed. Visitors must use the park’s shuttle buses, which take you up to the sightseeing trail.

Is there a trek inside the park?

Only a short, easy trek is allowed along a paved trail within the tourist zone. Full trekking is restricted to protect the ecosystem.

Carry ID proof, a camera, water bottle, binoculars, and wear comfortable walking shoes. Early mornings can be chilly, so a light jacket is useful.
